Hotter weather is expected on Monday in Cairo, the Delta and the North Coast, meteorologists said.
Highs of 38 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo, with Alexandria seeing a peak of 30 degrees.
Extremely hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime. Highs of 43 degrees will be reached in Qena, 44 degrees in Luxor and 45 degrees in Aswan.
Visibility will be reduced in the morning due to mist and impurities in the north.
Moderate northwesterly winds will blow over the Suez Gulf, which may disturb maritime navigation.
The height of Red Sea and Mediterranean waves are to reach between 1.5 to two meters, due to high winds.
