Engineer Ahmed Abdel Wahab Hussein, a member of the Ahly club, died on Friday during the board elections.
The voting began at 9am to choose a board to succeed that of Hassan Hamdi.
The General Assembly quorum was completed on Thursday with 1,000 members, and the elections saw a high turnout on Friday.
