An AirFrance passenger plane coming from Algeria en route to Jeddah made an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport on Thursday due to the death of an Algerian passenger.
The passenger went into a diabetic coma and died mid-flight, according to a source at the airport.
The body was transferred to a Heliopolis hospital and legal procedures were taken, the source added.
