Arabs and Africans in Cairo protest against their regimes

Members of various Arab and African communities in Cairo held protests on Sunday against their regimes and calling for increased democratic rights.

Syrians and Yemenis held protests before the Arab League headquarters, condemning the use of force against the peaceful demonstrators in their countries. They requested the Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Araby to intervene on their behalf.

Meanwhile, a number of Sudanese nationals protested before their embassy against election rigging in Kurdufan in favor of Ahmed Haroun, while the international election supervision committee announced the victory of Abdel Aziz al-Helw.

Also, scores of Eritreans protested before their embassy, demanding a new constitution and free parliamentary elections in their country.
