Armed forces run buses for public transport due to strike

Armed forces began running buses belonging to the transport sector along main roads to facilitate the movement of citizens suffering from the public transport workers' strike.
 
Galal Mustafa Said, the governor of Cairo, agreed with the managers of transport companies in Cairo to run 1,200 mini buses on the main bus lines from 5 am to 1 am the next day without any increase in ticket prices.
 
Public transport workers in Cairo and Giza continued, on Tuesday, their strike for the fourth consecutive day, demanding higher allowance and equality with other workers in the sector.
