Cabinet approves land allocation for Cathedral annex

The Egyptian Cabinet has approved the allocation of 30 acres in the Fifth Settlement, New Cairo, for the establishment of an annex for the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral.
 
The decision came during a meeting by the Cabinet on Wednesday.
 
The plot is originally owned by the New Urban Communities Authority, and the annex will be used by the Cathedral to transfer some of its possessions to the new location.
