Cold, dusty weather forecast for Thursday, Cairo 16C



Meteorologists expect on Thursday active dusty southwestern winds nationwide, possibly reaching sandstorm levels in some areas and affecting visibility.

The air will feel colder and the dusty winds may disrupt maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea. Low and medium-level clouds are also expected, possibly accompanied by rain in the north.

The weather is expected to be cold in the north and warmer in the south. It is expected to be very cold at night throughout the entire country.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are 15C in Alexandria, 16C in Cairo, 20C in Qena, 21C in Luxor, and 22C in Aswan.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be turbulent and range between 3 to 4 meters in height, with southwesterly surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.
