Meteorologists expect cold weather Saturday along the north coast, and warmer weather in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt. It will be mild during daylight hours in south Upper Egypt and very cold at night.
Low- and medium-level clouds accompanied by rain are expected along the north coast that could possibly extend to Lower Egypt and Cairo.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and active along the north coast. They will be active in the Red and Mediterranean seas, possibly disrupting navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are expected to range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height, and between 2 to 2.5 meters in the Red Sea. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted in Cairo: 17C, in Alexandria: 16C, in Qena: 18C, in Sharm el-Sheikh: 17C, in Luxor: 18C, and in Aswan: 19C.
