Meteorologists expect cold weather along the country’s northern coast as well as in Lower Egypt and the north of Upper Egypt during daylight and moderate weather in the south of Upper Egypt in daylight, growing cold through the entire country at night on Saturday.
Low- and medium-level clouds will cover the northern coasts, with rainfalls in the northern costs, Sinai, Lower Egypt, Cairo and the north of Upper Egypt.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are: 20C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 23C in Qena, 24C in Luxor, and 26C in Aswan.
Southwesterly winds will be active, raising sands and dusts throughout the country. Storms will grow in the country’s southern and eastern areas, disturbing maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and will range between three and four meters with northwesterly winds while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between two and two-and-a-half meters with southwesterly winds.
