Dead dolphin washes up on Red Sea beach

The carcass of a dolphin was discovered by villagers of al-Jubail village, in South Sinai’s al-Tur, on the shores of the village beach on Saturday.

Head of Tur city council Fawzy Hammam said that he notified the Environment Affairs Agency immediately after being altered by citizens. He added that the dolphin was already decomposed, and suggested that it was probably dead before washing up on shore.

He said that a burial site was prepared for the dead dolphin in coordination with the Environment Affairs Agency.
