Egypt-based company wins bid for Ethiopia tunnels

Company Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab "Arab Contractors" won a bid for US$35 million to build tunnels in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.

In an interview with Al-Masry Al-Youm Engineer Ibrahim Mihlib said that the Ethiopian government informed the company of its win and that the contract would be signed after the venture’s funding sources were provided.

Mihlib added that the company opened additional offices in Ethiopia and Zambia to train African engineers. Zambian President Robiah Panda will visit Egypt soon to visit the company’s Cairo headquarters, Mihlib said.
