Egypt, Georgia museums sign cooperation deal

National museums in Georgia and Egypt have signed a deal to enhance mutual cooperation by which both countries would exchange cultural and literary information.

“The document, signed between Georgia’s National Museum and the National Museum of Egypt, aimed to promote national culture between the partner countries,” Agenda, a Georgian news website, reported Tuesday.

“Looking ahead exhibitions are planned in both museums to increase awareness of Georgian and Egyptian culture. Various researches in archeological and natural science involving Georgian and Egyptian students will also take place,” officials said.

Publications in the languages of both countries are also eyed, Agenda added.
