Egypt sees warm to hot weather on Sunday

Meteorologists predict warm weather for Egypt on Sunday during daylight hours along the northern coasts and central Sinai, with moderately hot weather in Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and the Red Sea mountains and hot weather in southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will grow very cold across the country by nightfall.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 24C in Alexandria, 27C in Cairo, 29C in Qena, 30C on Luxor and 31C at Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning hours in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, northern coasts and central Sinai.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate across most parts of the country, with active winds predicted along the northwestern coasts.

Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated along the northern parts of the country.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on the Red Sea, and northeastern surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea.
