Egypt sees windy, dusty weather on Monday

Meteorologists predict mild active winds blowing up sand and dust on Monday at the northeastern coasts, central Sinai, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt.

Storms are expected on empty areas at the northwestern coasts, while more moderate winds are predicted in South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures are expected to be moderate across most parts of the country during daytime, with Upper Egypt seeing moderately hot weather.

The weather will grow cold to very cold across the country by nightfall.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Alexandria and Cairo, 31C in Luxor, and 32C at Qena and Aswan.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height.

Surface winds will be southeastern on both seas.
