EgyptAir ranks 31st among 900 airlines worldwide

Out of 900 international airlines, a new report published by the British agency OAG ranks EgyptAir 31st in the world for the month of October.

The rank was based on its operating times and regularity of traffic.

The its flight regularity stood at 86.7 percent for 6,266 flights throughout the month of October, reported Sherif Ezzat, chairman of the EgyptAir’s Board of Directors.

Ezzat added that EgyptAir’s rank was it’s personal best, ranking about ten points higher than other competitive airlines in the Arab region and the Middle East.

He said that the company aims to achieve more than 90 percent regularity over the next few years.

Twenty-six control officers were honored by EgyptAir for their efforts in bringing about the achievement in the company’s operational performance.
