Egyptians in UK plan protest to demand freezing regime assets

Members of the Egyptian community in the UK plan to demonstrate to call for freezing the British assets of members of Egypt's former regime.

The Egyptian Community Association in the UK said it plans on Monday to request permission from British authorities to demonstrate in front of the British cabinet.

Mostafa Ragab, the former head of the association, said the protest would take place from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday.

He called on all Egyptians in Britain, particularly in London, to participate in the protest to show widespread Egyptian support this demand.

Omar Ismail, the current head of the association, said the association will submit the request to Scotland Yard.
