Egypt’s Air Arabia launches direct flights from Sharm el-Sheikh to Naples

Air Arabia Egypt announced on Tuesday that the company would launch direct flights from Sharm el-Sheikh City to Naples in Italy on July 15.

Flights will take off every Monday from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport at 12:45 pm (Cairo Time), arriving at Naples International Airport at 16:30 pm. They will then return from Naples International Airport at 17:20 pm, arriving at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport at 20:50 pm.

Air Arabia CEO Adel Abdullah Ali said that the cites of Sharm el-Sheikh and Naples were full of ancient history, which company clients would be eager to discover at affordable prices.

He added that these flights would foster Egyptian-Italian commercial ties.

The company plans fights from operations centers in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Egypt to around 170 destinations worldwide, Ali explained.

In January the company previously launched new direct flights between Sharm el-Sheikh and Jordan’s capital Amman, as departure flights took off from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport at 11:45 am on Sundays and 7:30 pm on Wednesdays to land at the Queen Alia International Airport at 12:45 pm and 8:30 pm, respectively.
