Minister of Finance Mohammed Maait announced that the ministry would establish an electronic database in order to modernize the Real Estate taxes project, develop the work system, and utilize electronic measures for Egypt’s various directorates.

Maait explained that the project aims at connecting tax directorates together and easing the payment of due taxes.

He added that the ministry would implement the project in cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production from June 2019 until June 2020.
