Egypt’s urban inflation down to 10.4% in July

The urban consumer inflation was 10.4 percent in the 12 months to July, down from 11.8 percent in June, figures on Egypt's state statistics agency showed on its website on Wednesday.

The urban consumer price index for July was 115.9 versus 105 a year earlier, the state statistics agency CAPMAS said.

On a montly basis, urban inflation increased 1.2 percent from June 2011.
