Eight killed, seven wounded as microbus flips into a canal in Sohag

Eight people were killed and seven others injured when a microbus flipped in the Al-Farouqiya Canal in Sohag allegedly from overspeeding. 

The wounded were taken to hospital for treatment and prosecutors conducted investigations. General Ibrahim Saber, security director of Sohag, was notified of the incident.
 
The microbus was being driven by Mahmoud Ezzat Aleem, 16, when it flipped into a canal.
 
Among those confirmed dead are Abdul Hakim Hassan, 16, student, and Ibtisam Mohammad, 15, student , and Ismail Yassin, 40 years old, an worker, and Mohammed Abdullah, 55, a worker, and the girl Amani Mustafa of 3 months. The bodies of the three other victims have not yet identified.
