ElBaradei wants “criminals” in Egypt held accountable before war anniversary

Mohamed ElBaradei, Egypt's former vice interim president of international affairs, has called for criminals to be held accountable ahead of the 40th anniversary of the October War against Israel.

"Could we share together as [Egyptians] the anniversary of the October victory and have the courage for reconciliation after holding criminals accountable, just as we had the courage for confrontation?" ElBaradei tweeted on Saturday. "The option is ours."
