Electricity back to Hurghada after 30-minute blackout

Electricity has returned to Hurghada after the resort city was subjected to a 30-minute blackout late Sunday.

Sources at the electricity services said the power outage was the result of a glitch in the city’s central power transformer station. The issue was repaired and power was gradually restored to several tourist and residential facilities.
