Fire sparks in Cairo church, no casualties

A huge fire sparked on Wednesday in the headquarters of Saint Paul’s Church in Hadayek el-Qobbah of Cairo.

Director of the Civil Protection Authority of Cairo Osama Farouk said that the civil protection forces imposed a security cordon around the church and extinguished the fires.

Farouk claimed that the fires partially damaged the church, and no casualties were reported.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the fire suddenly broke out from inside the Church.
