Fourth Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner joins EgyptAir fleet

The fourth Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner has joined the EgyptAir fleet on Monday, out of a total of six aircrafts contracted by the company.

EgyptAir said in a statement that the first flight by the new plane would be to Paris.

The first aircraft of the same model joined the EgyptAir fleet in March as part of a plan to modernize the fleet.

The fifth and sixth Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners will be handed over to the company in July.

The four aircrafts now serve several destinations for EgyptAir, including Washington, Frankfurt, Paris, Kuwait and Dubai. The new crafts are scheduled to run on other lines during the coming period, said the statement.
