Gradual decrease in temperature on Friday, Cairo 34C

Meteorologists predict a gradual decrease in temperatures across most parts the country starting from Friday, with mild weather in the north, moderately warm weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt, while extreme heat will prevail in Upper Egypt and southern Upper Egypt.

The maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 34C in Cairo and 29C in Alexandria, 41C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Low and medium cloud cover is anticipated on the North Coast and Upper Egypt, with mist affecting visibility in the morning.

Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength, and active in South Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea ranging between 2.5 to 3 meters. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.
