Eyewitnesses told Al-Masry Al-Youm Wednesday that a number of gunmen abducted three citizens in Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai.
The gunmen abducted the three people to question them over cooperation with the army and police against armed groups in Sinai, eyewitnesses added.
Armed groups have been actively targeting the army and police in the Sinai since the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi in 2013.
