Gunmen attack National Security Agency headquarters in Suez



Gunmen fired shots at the headquarters of the National Security Agency in Suez Thursday morning. No injuries were reported.
 
Security sources at Suez Security Directorate said a pickup truck that was transporting the gunmen was seized. Officials found a dead person inside the vehicle. 
 
According to the sources, the body belonged to one of the gunmen who was mistakenly shot by one of the other assailants. 
 
"The gunmen have been identified," said the sources. "They have criminal records and the incident is criminal, not political, in nature."
 
The assailants had reportedly fired randomly at security forces as they were escaping a fight and feared to be arrested by police, the sources added.
