Gunmen wound 2 Nour Party members in Giza

Three unknown gunmen wounded two members of the Salafi-oriented Nour Party in Giza early Tuesday.

The pair was leaving a mosque in the Kerdasa suburb before they were shot by the attackers, sustaining injuries in the stomach and chest. Both were taken to hospital.

The Nour Party has faced hostility from Islamist backers over its siding with the military-backed government and declared support of the ouster of former Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi in 2013.

Kerdasa was a hotspot for bloody police and extremists encounters following Morsi's overthrow.
