Very hot temperatures for Wednesday, Cairo: 40C

 

Meteorologists predict hot weather to prevail across the western coasts in Egypt on Wednesday, with hotter temperatures expected for Cairo and Upper Egypt’s governorates during daylight.

The weather will grow milder once night falls across the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 31C in Alexandria, 40C in Cairo, 44C in Qena, 44C in Luxor, 45C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are to be expected in the north as well.

Winds are predicted to be northwestern and moderate.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be light and range between 0.5 meters and 1 meters. Surface winds on both seas will come from the northwest.
