Hot weather on first day of Ramadan, Cairo 36C

Meteorologists expect hot weather across Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the country’s southern regions on the first day of Ramadan.

Mild weather is expected for the western coasts in the daylight and throughout the entire country at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 23C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, and 43C in Luxor and Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility during morning hours in the northern parts of the country until northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated for the northern parts of the country, disturbing maritime navigation at the Mediterranean Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northeastern surface winds.
