The Egyptian Mythological Authority (EMA) has predicted for Monday warm weather in the north-western Matrouh governorate and very hot temperatures in the remaining parts of the country during daylight.
Cold weather is expected to dominate the country overnight.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning while low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for the north.
Winds will mostly be southwesterly and moderate in strength. The winds will be active in the north of the country, blowing up sand and dust.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be mild and range between 1.5 to 2 meters with northwesterly surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be mild and range between 1 to 1.5 meters, with southeasterly surface winds.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 34C in Cairo, 32C in Alexandria, 36C in Qena, 36C in Luxor, and 36C in Aswan.
