Hot weather expected for Sunday, Cairo 35C

Meteorologists expect hot weather to prevail on Sunday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, and very hot temperatures on southern Upper Egypt in the daylight hours, while mild at night.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated on Sunday.

Winds are expected to be northwestern and mild. It will be active on Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 35C in Cairo and 30C in Alexandria, 38C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
