The Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) expects on Thursday hot temperatures across the country during daylight hours.
Moderate temperatures will dominate the country overnight.
Low and medium-level cloud cover is expected in the country’s northern parts.
Winds will be mostly southeasterly and moderate in strength and will be active in the country’s southern parts, disturbing sands and dusts while active winds are expected for the west of the Mediterranean sea, disturbing maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters high, with eastsoutherly surface winds.
In the Red Sea waves will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters high with northwesterly surface winds.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 36C in Cairo, 33C in Alexandria, 36C in Suez, 38C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
