Meteorologists expect hot weather for Cairo, Lower Egypt, very hot temperatures across the southern parts during daytime, and moderate temperatures along the northern coasts.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 30C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo ad Hurghada, 39C in Sharm el-Sheikh, 43C in Qena and 45C in Luxor and Aswan.
The weather will grow milder by night across the country.
Mist will affect visibility during morning hours on the northern parts of the country with low and medium-level clouds anticipated there.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on South Sinai, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one to 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two to 2.5 meters high.
Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
