Hot weather predicted for Monday, Cairo 36C

 

Meteorologists anticipate hot weather on Monday to continue across Egypt.

Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the hottest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt in the daylight hours, growing mild by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 32C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are to be expected in the north.

Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate, active on South Sinai, Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting the maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be slightly stronger and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
