Hotter temperatures to reach Egypt on Sunday

Egypt’s meteorologists revealed that a heat wave will dominate the country’s eastern and western areas and Cairo beginning on Sunday and ending Friday, with highest expected temperatures on Monday.

Temperatures will increase by 5C to 6C degrees, meteorologists added.

Maximum temperatures expected for the following areas are: 37C in the northwesterly coasts, 37C in Lower Egypt, 40C in north of Upper Egypt, 42C in south of Upper Egypt, 37C in North Sinai and 38C in South Sinai.

Hot and very hot weather will dominate the country’s northern coast and Cairo, respectively, during daylight.

Weather will be moderate throughout the country at night.

Winds will be moderate and active, disrupting sands and dusts in the west of the country on Sunday.

Temperatures will decrease up to 10C degrees starting Tuesday and weather will become mild on the northern coast and moderate in Cairo, Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt in the daylight, growing cold at night.

Maximum temperatures expected for the following areas on Tuesday are: 24C in the northwesterly coasts, 26C in Lower Egypt, 29C in the north of Upper Egypt, 32C in the south of Upper Egypt, 25C in North Sinai and 31C in South Sinai.

Winds will be moderate and active, disrupting sands and dusts in the south of the country and South Sinai on Tuesday and Wednesday and disrupting the maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
