Houthi rebels dissolve parliament, install ‘presidential council’ to run Yemen

Shiite militia who have seized Yemen's capital announced Friday they had dissolved parliament and installed a "presidential council" to run the country after the resignation of the president.

In a "constitutional declaration", the Huthi militia also said it would set up a national council of 551 members to replace parliament following months of turmoil.
