Meteorologists predict moderate weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Thursday and hot weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt, while moderately hot weather is expected for northern Upper Egypt.
Very hot temperatures will prevail across southern Upper Egypt during the daytime, while the weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted are 29C in Alexandria, 34C in Cairo, 38C in Qena and 38C in Luxor and 39C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northern, active on South Sinai and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and will range between one and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and two meters with northwestern surface winds.
