Meteorologist warns of sand and dust storms for Friday

Meteorologists predict cold weather on Friday in the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt due to the continuation of active winds, disturbing sand and dust, particularly in the eastern and western parts.

Warm weather is expected for southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, growing very cold throughout the entire country at night.

Winds will affect visibility and disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.

Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 15C in Cairo, 15C in Alexandria, 17C in Qena, 18C in Luxor, and 18C in Aswan.

Low and medium-level clouds will cover the entire country, accompanied by rains in the northern parts and northern Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and range between 3 to 4 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters, with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
