Meteorologists predict mild weather on Monday across the country, with hot weather anticipated in southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, growing cold by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 25C in Alexandria, 26C in Cairo, 29C in Qena, 30C in Luxor, and 30C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts and northern Upper Egypt in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in different parts of the country accompanied by rainfall on northeastern coasts and middle Sinai.
Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. They will be active at the Sinai Peninsula, blowing up sand and dust. They will also be active also on the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northeastern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
