Meteorologists predict mild weather on Monday across Egypt during daylight hours, growing cold by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 20C in Alexandria and Cairo, 21C in Qena and Luxor, and 22C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts up until north Upper Egypt in the morning. Low and medium level clouds are expected across the northern regions of the country.
Winds are anticipated to be mostly southwestern and moderate, active in the western parts and blowing up sand and dust in some areas. Winds will also be active on the Mediterranean Sea, potentially disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height, and surface winds will be southwestern, meanwhile waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
