Mild weather with rains expected for Sunday, Cairo 26C

Meteorologists expect mild weather across most parts of Egypt on Sunday, with mild to cold temperatures in all regions during the evening.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning in different parts to the north of the country. Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for the North Coast and Lower Egypt. Light rainfall is expected across the northeastern coast.

Winds are anticipated to be mostly southwesterly and moderate in strength, active on western parts of the country, blowing up sand and dust. Winds will also be active on the Gulf of Suez and Mediterranean Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are predicted to be mild to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be mild and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 26C in Cairo and 25C in Alexandria, 31C in Qena, 31C in Luxor, and 32C in Aswan.
