Minister: International Islamic Relief licenses revoked

Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Waly said on Sunday that the license of the International Islamic Relief Organization has also been revoked, for undertaking activities not listed in its authorization, receiving funds from sources not listed in the license, exceeding its financial provision and opening branches without the ministry’s prior approval.

The governor of Cairo has dissolved the Justice Foundation for Arbitration for violating Law 84 of 2002, by issuing rulings without the approval of the Justice Ministry, Waly added.

She said the governor had suspended the work of the foundation until the completion of the investigations by the public prosecution, but it did not comply with his decision, which prompted him to dissolve it.

The minister also said that the governor of Qalyubiya suspended the activities of the Hope Society in Al-Obour City for seizing state-owned land, and requested the Administrative Control Authority and the Urban Communities Authority to take legal action against the foundation.
