Moderate rains to fall across Egypt on Wednesday: EMA

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects cold weather to prevail across the north of Egypt on Wednesday, with the weather expected to be moderate across Upper Egypt’s northern parts and warm across Upper Egypt’s southern areas during daylight hours.

Low and medium clouds, accompanied by rainfalls, will cover the country’s northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo.

Active winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly, and their strength may disrupt maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and range between 3.5 to 4 meters in height, with stronger waves in the Red Sea ranging between 2.5 to 3 meters in height. Surface winds will be blowing northwesterly in both seas.

Maximum temperatures on Wednesday in Cairo will be 18C, Alexandria 18C, Qena 23C, Luxor 24C, Aswan 25C.
