Moderate weather for Egypt on Tuesday

Egyptian meteorologists predict moderate weather on Tuesday across most of the country, with mild temperatures on the northwestern coasts, the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, and higher temperatures in southern Upper Egypt.

They predict cold temperatures at night throughout the country, but expect temperatures to be milder throughout South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20C in Alexandria, 24C in Cairo, 34C in Qena and 35C in Luxor, 37C in Aswan.

Winds will be mostly moderate, but stronger in northern Upper Egypt, and are expected to disrupt maritime navigation in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in Cairo and the Nile Delta, and light rainfall is expected on the northwestern coasts.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters high, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough, ranging between 2.5 and three meters high, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
