Moderate weather predicted on Thursday

 

Meteorologists anticipate moderate weather on Thursday across Egypt.

Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the hottest weather south of Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, cooling down by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are; 34C in Cairo and 31C in Alexandria, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning.

Low-level clouds are to be expected in the north.

Winds are predicted to be northwestern and mild, active along the western coast, South Sinai, north Upper Egypt, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds, while rougher waves in the Red Sea will range around 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with surface winds from the northwest as well.
