Moderate weather, rains for Egypt on Sunday



Egypt’s meteorologists predict mild weather across the northern coasts, moderate weather on Lower Egypt and Cairo, and hotter weather on northern Upper Egypt and southern Upper Egypt on Sunday during the daylight, growing milder throughout by night.

Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are as follows: 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 35C in Sharm el-Sheikh, 37C in Aswan, and 36C in Qena, Luxor, and. Hurghada.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning from the country’s northern parts. Low and medium-level-clouds will cover the northern parts, accompanied by rainfall.

Winds will be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on South Sinai and the Mediterranean Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters. Northwestern surface winds are expected on both seas.
