Moderately hot weather continues for Thursday

Meteorologists predict moderate weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Thursday and moderately hot weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt. Hot weather is expected for northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather is predicted for southern Upper Egypt during the daytime.

Weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 82C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 40C in Qena and 41C in Luxor and 42C in Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.

Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active across South Sinai, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light and will range between one and 1.5 meters in height with northeastern to northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between two and 2.5 meters, with northwestern surface winds.
