Moderately hot weather across Egypt for Thursday

Meteorologists anticipate moderately hot weather during the daylight hours on Thursday for Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, central Sinai, South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, with mildly warm weather along the northwestern coasts.

Hot weather is predicted north of Upper Egypt, with very hot weather south of Upper Egypt.

The weather will grow cold at night throughout the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 22C in Alexandria, 28C in Cairo, 32C in Qena, and 33C in Luxor and Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in northern Upper Egypt, with dusts over some areas in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and rains on the far western areas and the northwestern coasts.

Winds will be mostly moderate in Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt, active on South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, whipping up sands and dusts on the northwestern coasts, northeastern coasts and central Sinai.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 1.8 to 2.3 meters in height with southeastern to southwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between two to 0.8-1.8 meters with northwestern to southeastern surface winds.
