Moderately hot weather, rains to continue Thursday

Egypt’s meteorologists predict moderate weather for the northern coasts on Thursday, and moderately hot weather across Cairo, Lower Egypt and the north of Upper Egypt, and hot weather in the south of Upper Egypt during the daylight.

The weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28C in Alexandria, 31C in Cairo, 36C in Qena, 37C in Luxor and 38C in Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated, accompanied by rains in Sinai and Egypt’s southern areas.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active in South Sinai and the Gulf of Suez.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and will range between one and 1.5 meters in height. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and two meters with northwestern surface winds over both seas.
